How it works
Invoicing tools want an account, your client list and usually a subscription once you pass a few invoices a month. For a freelancer sending a handful, that is a great deal of infrastructure for what is fundamentally a formatted page of numbers.
Nothing is stored, which cuts both ways
There is no account and no saved client list, so nothing about your business or your customers is held anywhere. That also means the form starts empty every time — this suits occasional invoicing, not running a business's whole billing operation.
Line items, tax and discount
Add as many lines as you need with quantity and unit price; amounts and the total update as you type. A percentage discount is applied first and tax is calculated on the discounted subtotal, which is the standard order and the one that matters when both appear.
Numbering matters more than people expect
Invoice numbers should be unique and sequential. Most tax authorities require it, and duplicates cause real problems at year end. Pick a scheme such as INV-001 and keep to it.
What it does not check
This produces an invoice document; it does not know what your country requires on one. Depending on where you are that may include a tax registration number, specific wording, the date of supply, or a reverse-charge note. Check your own requirements — the tool has no opinion and cannot warn you.
