How it works
Turning photographs into a PDF is what you do when something has to be submitted as one document: scanned receipts, photographed forms, identity documents, a set of drawings. Those are precisely the things that should not be uploaded to a free website to achieve it.
Page size
Fit the page to each picture produces a PDF where every page is exactly the shape of its image — no borders, no wasted space. That is right for screenshots and photo collections. A4 or US Letter produces a conventional document with each picture centred on a standard page, which is what forms and printers expect.
Orientation and margins
Match each picture puts wide pictures on landscape pages and tall ones on portrait, which avoids large empty bands. A margin keeps images away from the page edge, which matters for printing since most printers cannot print to the very edge.
Quality
JPGs are embedded exactly as they are, with no re-encoding, so nothing is lost and the PDF is about the size of the originals combined. PNGs are embedded losslessly too. Other formats — WebP, BMP, GIF — cannot be embedded directly and are converted to high-quality JPEG first.
Order
Pictures become pages in the order the file list shows. Remove and re-add a file to move it to the end.
Images to PDF — questions
Does it reduce the quality of my photos?
No. JPG and PNG images are embedded as they are. Other formats are converted to high-quality JPEG first because PDF cannot embed them directly.
Can I choose the page size?
Yes — fit each page to its picture, or use A4 or US Letter with the image centred.
How do I change the page order?
Pictures become pages in the order listed. Remove and re-add a file to move it.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in your browser.
